Election Mayor Election - JULY 2026 (Special #1)

This is the official election post for the July 2026 Mayoral special election for the town of Oakridge.

Following the resignation of former Mayor Sofia2750, a special election is held to fill the vacant position.

Requirements
In order to run for a seat on the Council of Oakridge, citizens must to meet the following requirements:

• Has been 1 month since the player's initial join date;
• Has accrued at least 48 hours of total active playtime;
• Has accrued at least 12 hours of active playtime within the last 30 days;
• Is an Oakridge resident (must be maintained throughout term);
• Has not served as Mayor during both the previous two Mayoral terms;
• Is not a Mayor/Deputy Mayor of another town.

Declarations
Players seeking candidacy for the position of Mayor of Oakridge shall reply:

"I, <username>, declare that I will be contesting the position of Mayor of Oakridge as an Independent / a member of <political party>.

Declarations close in 24 hours with voting open for a total of 24 hours.

Voting
To vote, you must be a resident of the town of Oakridge with a valid passport and at least 6 hours of active playtime in the past 30 days.
