COMPLAINT
The Plaintiff complains against the Defendant as follows:
WRITTEN STATEMENT FROM THE PLAINTIFF
I. PARTIES
1. MattisSuperstar, a miner and fisher from Redmont.
2. teji2, a business owner with shops in Redmont.
II. FACTS
1. On the 27th day of September, 2026, MattisSuperstar purchased a music disc labelled "The Internationale", a song written by Eugène Pottier in June of 1871.
2. The disc was purchased from a chest shop owned by teji2.
3. The disc was purchased for DC$5,000.
4. When played, the disc purchased was found to actually contain "Cat", written by Daniel Rosenfeld (a. k. a. C418.) in March of 2011.
5. Multiple attempts were made to contact the defendant to obtain either a refund or the correct disc, but none were successful.
III. CLAIMS FOR RELIEF
1. The plaintiff refers to the Redmont Civil Code Act (1st January, 2026) Part VI Subsection 3: Misleading Conduct in Trade or Commerce.
2. This conduct by the defendant clearly violates the subsection in reference to "a: engages in conduct that is misleading, deceptive, or likely to mislead or deceive another person in connection with the promotion, sale, or supply of goods or services."
3: The plaintiff argues that the position he was placed in created a situation where he was mislead in connection with the supply of a good.
IV. PRAYER FOR RELIEF
The Plaintiff seeks the following from the Defendant:
1. The plaintiff seeks a replacement of the disc, and in lieu of a replacement, a refund of DC$5,000.
2. The plaintiff also seeks the legal costs be covered for the case.
By making this submission, I agree I understand the penalties of lying in court and the fact that I am subject to perjury should I knowingly make a false statement in court.
