A
BILL
To

Amend the Constitution through Amending the Judicial Fix Act.

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Magistrate Correction Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by RelaxedGV, Representative TheReal42Person, Representative itsBlazeX, and ko531.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. TheReal42Person

2 - Reasons
  1. As of now the Judicial Fix Act contradicts itself. It states there can only be one Magistrate on the District Court yet, states there can be one per town which would permit four Magistrates thus making a contradiction.
  2. The current wording of the bill makes it as stated in reason A contradictory but, even makes it confusing to understand for the average person. Even the most skilled Attorneys were confused and did not completely agree on the exact understanding of the Act.

3 - Amendment

Veto

This bill has been voted because the district court doesn't get cases as is. Fix that issue then we can look at this.
