Amend the Criminal Code Act to repeal prohibitions on possession and trafficking of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs).​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the "Legalize Nuclear Bombs Act."
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signing.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative Anthony_org.
(4) This Act has been sponsored by Representative Anthony_org.
(5) This Act has been co-sponsored by Representative Vernicia

2 - Reasons

(1) The Criminal Code Act currently penalises possession and trafficking of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs).
(2) These prohibitions are unnecessarily restrictive.
(3) This Act repeals the relevant provisions to allow lawful possession and use of WMDs.

3 - Amendments to the Criminal Code Act

(1) Section 7 - Weapon of Mass Destruction Possession
(a) Offence Type: Summary
(b) Penalty: 5 Penalty Units
(c) A person commits the offence of weapon of mass destruction possession if:
i. The person is in possession of a weapon of mass destruction.


(2) Section 8 - Weapon of Mass Destruction Trafficking
(a) Offence Type: Indictable
(b) Penalty: 100 Penalty Units and/or 60 minutes imprisonment
(c) A person commits the offence of weapon of mass destruction trafficking if:
i. The person sells or attempts to sell a weapon of mass destruction.
ii. The person supplies a weapon of mass destruction.

I NAY this bill because I believe our society is not ready for either mutually assured destruction or true collective security.
We need more order!
The city is already unsafe, and people are killed all the time. Legalizing nuclear weapons would make it easier and more accessible to disrupt entire groups, a repression tool. I still believe in a society that values the freedom to possess all types of weapons, but without proper regulation and law enforcement, freedom turns into nothing but dust.
 
I love bombing people and being bombed (i have never used a WMD)
