The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
This Act may be cited as the “LDV Pet Murder Act".
1. This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

3 – Terms

Replace “Pet Murder
Whenever a player kills another player’s pet without consent
- First offense: $100 made payable to the victim;
- Second offense: $500 made payable to the victim plus 10 minutes of jailtime; and
- Third and subsequent offenses: $500 made payable to the victim, 30 minutes jail, revocation of all licenses.”

With “Pet Murder
Whenever a player kills another player’s pet without consent
First offense: $100 made payable to the victim
Second offense: $500 made payable to the victim + 10 minutes jail time
Third offense and after: $500 payable to the victim, 30 minutes jail, revocation of firearms license"

Amend Pet Murder

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:​

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Pet Murder Amendment Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

2 - Reasons
Allows for murder of livestock and other animals someone may own that are not pets.

3 - Amendments
(1)The process of changing the constitution will be changed from subsection a to subsection b:
(a) 13.3 - Pet Murder
Whenever a player kills another player’s pet without consent
First offense: $100 made payable to the victim
Second offense: $500 made payable to the victim + 10 minutes jail time
Third offense and after: $500 payable to the victim, 30 minutes jail, revocation of firearms license

(b) 13.3 - Animal Murder
Whenever a player kills another player’s animal without consent
First offense: $100 made payable to the victim
Second offense: $500 made payable to the victim + 10 minutes jail time
Third offense and after: $500 payable to the victim, 30 minutes jail, revocation of firearms license

1 - Short Title and Enactment

1. This Act may be cited as the “Pet Act”.
2. This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage
3. Authored by Representative Elaina with the help of Senator Ansgard

2 - Reasons for Proposal

1. The laws about pet murders are much too light.
2. A player respawns when they are murdered, a pet does not.

3 - Terms

1. Fines
   1. This act increases the fine for a first offence of pet murder from $100 to $150.
2. Jail time
   1. 1st offence: Add a fail time of 10 minutes
   2. 2nd offence: increase the jail time from 10 minutes to 20 minutes
3. Rules and laws changes
   1. 13.3 - Animal Murder Whenever a player kills another player’s animal without consent
      First Offence: $100 made payable to the victim
      Second Offence: $500 made payable to the victim + 10 minutes jail time
      Third Offence and after: $500 payable to the victim, 30 minutes jail, revocation of firearms license
