6.0 - Property & Building Regulations

6.1 - Residential Zoning

(1) (Plots beginning with ‘R’ are residential plots (e.g. ‘r001’).
(2) Residential plots may only have houses built on them.
(3) A player is restricted to owning one Residentially zoned plot at any one time.
(4) Players cannot have houses with more than three visible floors.
(a) As basements and rooftops aren't entirely visible, they are an exception to this rule.



6.2 - Commercial Zoning
(1) Plots beginning with ‘C’ are commercial plots (e.g. ‘c001’).
(2) Commercial plots may only have businesses, offices, shops, apartment buildings, and other commercial buildings built on them.
(3) Commercial plots are height limited to 60 blocks, unless otherwise approved by the Department of Construction and Transport.



6.3 - Industrial Zoning
(1) Plots beginning with ‘I’ are industrial plots (e.g. ‘I001’).
(2) Industrial plots may only have factories, warehouses, and production facilities built on them.
(3) Industrial plots are height limited to 60 blocks, unless otherwise regulated by subordinate laws.



6.4 - Skyscraper Zoning
(1) Plots beginning with ‘s’ are industrial plots (e.g. ‘s001’).
(2) Skyscraper plots inherit the zoning laws concerning commercial plots, except the height limitation.
(3) Skyscraper plots are height limited to 200 blocks and must be taller than 60 blocks.



6.5 - Black Market Zoning
(1) Plots beginning with ‘bm’ are black market plots (e.g. ‘bm001’)
(2) Black market plots are exempt from certain laws, as directed by staff.



6.6 - Farmland Zoning
(1) Plots beginning with ‘F’ are farmland plots (e.g. ‘F001’)
(2) Farmland plots are exclusive to Willow (Livestock, Crops) and Oakridge (Lumber) in support of the respective industry only.



6.7 - Apartments
(1) There are no naming conventions for apartment regions names.
(2) Apartments must not contain any types of liquid source blocks; Nether portals; and or chest shops.



6.8 - Urban Agriculture
(1) Agriculture is not permitted on R, S, or BM plots.
(2) Agriculture is permitted on F plots
(3) Agriculture is permitted on I and C plots if it is conducted underground or hidden.



6.9 - Sale of Plots
(1) You can sell your plot back for 90% of the plot’s original price, resell it to another player, or auction the plot.
(2) When a plot has been reported for eviction, the report will remain extant until it is resolved or evicted. Transferring ownership of the plot in question will not have a bearing on the date of eviction, unless otherwise provided by the relevant Department.
(3) If plot ownership is transferred while there is an active eviction report on the plot, the original owner has a duty to disclose the report to the buyer or recipient of the plot. Failure to do so will result in the original owner being guilty of failure to disclose.



6.10 - Duty of Disclosure
(1) Failure to Disclose
Failure of a party to provide the other parties with all legally required information and or documents which are relevant to a property.
Per Offence: Cost of damages incurred by the recipient as a result of the failure to disclose.
(a) A plea of ignorance to a report is not an admissible defence to failure to disclose.



6.11 - Completed Buildings
A finished plot is defined as a plot with a completed building which is compliant with the building regulations and has a function, or a finished interior.



6.12 - Historical Building Alterations
Changing the physical appearance of a preserved, historical building without permission or consent.
Minor Alteration: $1000 Fine + Verbal Warning
Major Alteration: $3000 Fine + Plot Eviction
Demolished Building: $5000 Fine + Plot Eviction



6.13 - Plot Limitations
(1) C Plots. A citizen may not own more than 50 commercial properties.
(2) R Plots. A citizen may not own more than 2 residential properties.
(3) I Plots. A citizen may not own more than 2 industrial properties
(4) S Plots. A citizen may not own more than 6 skyscraper properties
(5) BM Plots. A citizen may not own more than 1 black market property.
(6) CBD Plots. A citizen may not own more than 2 CBD properties.
(7) Realtors. Any citizen with a Realtor job may exceed these limitations by 5 plots each (excluding BM plots and CBD regions), provided the plots exceeding these limitations are for the purpose of reselling the plot within 30 days of purchasing the plot.



6.14 - Merged Plots
Any merged plots will not be recognised as one plot, rather they will be counted as the amount of sub-plots which form the whole merged plot.



6.15 - Plot Releases
The releasing authority must release plots in a fair and equitable fashion that is controlled and factors in time zones.



6.16 - Breach of Property Standards
Failing to comply with any part of the Property Standards Act will incur a penalty unless otherwise provided within this Act.
Per Offense: $150



6.17 - Violating CBD Rules
A player renting a CBD without meeting the set requirements as outlined by the DCT, including renting more than 2 at once and renting a new player CBD despite not being new.
First Offence: Normal DCT Eviction
Second Offence: $1000 fine per CBD rented in violation
Third Offence and after: $2500 fine per CBD rented in violation
Fines are enforced by the DCT



7.0 - Landlords
The tenant must abide by the default rules for apartment renters, however you are able to make your own rules for your own apartment building on top of these. If someone's rent expires, the landlord is allowed to contact a Staff member to vault the previous tenant's items.



7.1 - Wrongful Eviction
Evicting a tenant without reasonable notice or refund
Per Offence: Up to $2000+ Rental Fees Refunded, which may be disputed in court.



7.2 - Landlord Trespassing
Landlord entering a tenant’s rental region without reasonable prior notice. The rental region containing chestshops, an inactive tenant, or written permission of entry to the landlord by the tenant prevents the enforcement of this law.
Per Offence: $250 + Any changes to the rental region by the landlord are reverted.



8.0 - Tenants
Respect the wishes and rules of your Landlord. If you do not like them, you’re allowed to move to a different place of residence;
Domestic animals such as dogs, cats, and parrots are allowed in apartments unless told otherwise by the landlord.

8.1 - Prohibited Items in Dwellings
The following are prohibited in apartments: farm animals (sheep, chickens, and cows; ) any type of farms; any types of liquid source blocks; Nether portals; and chest shops.
Per Offence: $100 fine



8.2 - Illicit Renting
The act of illicitly renting an apartment, office or other rentable region despite clear restrictions against the tenant renting the region is prohibited.
Per Offense: $250 fine and the landlord may have the tenant immediately evicted.



9.0 - Wilderness & Wildlife
Griefing of unregioned player property and PvP in the wilderness is allowed;
You are allowed to claim up to 4096 blocks of land in the wilderness, which disallows other players to grief you;
Unless given permission, your region needs to be at least 20 blocks away from another player’s region;
It costs $10/block to claim land in the Wild and Regions in the wild. Where the owner is inactive for more than 4 months the Department of Interior will have the region deleted. This will not be vaulted. To see which laws apply in the wilderness, please see the Wilderness Laws Clarification 3.0 Act.


9.1 - End Portal Obstruction
Impeding the use of; regioning; or access of an End Portal.
Per offence: Region removal. (To be executed by staff).



9.2 - Animal Abandonment
The act of leaving an animal in an area without the consent of the property owner.
Per Offense: $100 Fine + animal to be taken to shelter by the DoI.



9.3 - Animal Murder
The act of killing a citizen's animal without consent.
Per Offense: $100 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time



9.4 - Animal Theft
The act of stealing one's animal, tamed or not, and admitting to it or it being found in your possession.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



9.5 – Pet Overcrowding
The act of not giving an animal the space they require. Cats and dogs require a minimum of two blocks of floor space each. Parrots require a minimum of one block of floor space each. Upon discovery, the offender will be notified and have 48 hours to rectify.
Per Offense: $100 Fine + animal to be taken to shelter by the DoI.



9.6 – Shelter Animal Murder
The act of murdering a shelter animal either stray (owned by a player) or any up for adoption.
Per Offense: $150 Fine (paid to owner of pet if stray) + 5 Minutes Jail Time



9.7 – Villager Murder
The act of killing a villager.
Per Offense: $1000 Fine + 10 Minutes Jail



9.8 – Animal Overcrowding
The act of not giving an animal the space they require. Cows, sheep, and pigs require a minimum of four blocks of floor space each. Horses and llamas require a minimum of six floor blocks of space each. Chickens require a minimum of two blocks of floor space each. Upon discovery, the offender will be notified and have 48 hours to rectify. This law only applies to farm plots.
1st Offense: $100 fine + animal(s) taken to shelter by the DOI
Additional Offenses: $350 fine + animal(s) taken to shelter by the DOI + plot eviction



10.0 - Commerce
Courts may sentence to a maximum of $20,000 Fine + Fine of Company Funds + 60 Minutes Jail for any offences violated in this section, in accordance with the Criminal Court Sentencing Act.

10.1 - Fraud
An intentional or reckless misrepresentation or omission of an important fact, especially a material one, to a victim who justifiably relies on that misrepresentation; and the victim party or entity suffered actual, quantifiable injury or damages as a result of the misrepresentation or omission.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



10.2 - Money Laundering
Any act to conceal funds illegally obtained, through commercial transactions, business deals, or any means otherwise.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



10.3 - Gambling Fraud
The act of fraudulently misrepresenting how a gambling activity is conducted.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



10.4 - New Player Fraud
To take advantage of a new player's wealth and or resources for another's profit or advantage.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



10. 5 - False Credentials
The Act of fraudulently misrepresenting yourself or someone else as having a certification, commendation or another type of credential for personal gain.
Fine: $1000 + Damages



10.6 - Tax Evasion
Using unlawful means of business in order to avoid paying taxes where you would have otherwise been required to pay tax.
Per Offence: $100 - $10,000 fine



10.7 - Personal Tax Evation
The act of intentionally or maliciously transferring, funds to one or more personal balances or company bank accounts with no legitimate purpose, with the result that less tax is paid.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



10.8 - Property Tax Evation
The act of intentionally or maliciously transferring property to one or more persons over which they have no legal ownership without a legitimate purpose, with the result that less tax is paid.” To combat, said behaviour, a merged plot needs to be owned by the same person even after it has been merged.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



10.9 - Market Allocation
Any sort of deal wherein two or more businesses agree to allocate 'territory' to one another to prevent regional competition.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



11.0 - Business
In order to apply for government grants and support, you must register your business here on forums with the Department of Commerce. You're allowed to hire employees to complete certain tasks, depending on the business. Your company’s name can’t be similar to another one.

11.1 - Corporate Espionage
The act of participating in or being accessory to the gathering, infiltration, or compromise of any sensitive information related to a company, that has not already been released to the public.
Minimum Sentencing: $5,000 Fine + 15 Minutes Jail Time
Maximum Sentencing: $20,000 Fine + 60 Minutes Jail Time



11.2 - Market Manipulation
Any act to artificially inflate or deflate the value of a company or stock for personal gain.
Per Offence: Up to $5000 Fine



11.3 - Insider Trading
Buying or selling a stock based on non-public information that would substantially impact a trader’s decision to buy or sell.
Per Offence: Up to $3,000 Fine + paying back all the profit achieved by the insider trading.



11.4 -Third-Party Misrepresentation
The act of intentionally or recklessly aiding and abetting a party or entity in committing market manipulation. This also applies, to a party or entity which is not aware they might be committing market manipulation such as participants in a pump and dump scheme.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



11.5 - Union Busting
Employers who take action to disrupt or engage in conduct to dismantle a union.
Per Offence: $1000-$5000 fine



11.5 - Money Laundering
Any act to conceal funds illegally obtained, through commercial transactions, business deals, or any means otherwise.
Per Offence: Up to $5000 Fine + Fine Money Laundered



11.6 - Bid Rigging
Any sort of deal wherein two or more businesses agree to not bid against one another to minimize their losses.
Per Offence: Up to $10,000 Fine + 10 minutes jail + Full reimbursement of initial funds.



11.7 - Price Fixing
Any sort of deal wherein two or more businesses agree to keep prices at a certain point to avoid price competition.
Per Offence: Up to $10,000 Fine + 10 minutes jail.



11.8 - Monopolization
Any sort of deal wherein two or more businesses seek to merge into a single entity or owner-subsidiary relationship that controls a disproportionately large amount of market share in any particular market.
Per Offence: Up to $10,000 Fine + 10 minutes jail.



11.9 - Embezzlement
The act of withholding assets for the purpose of conversion of such assets, by one or more persons to whom the assets were entrusted, for personal gain.” An example of this law is; spending company funds for personal gain of a company of which you do not own 100%.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



12.0 - Medical

12.1 - Contagious Diseases

The transmitting of a disease to another player, the refusal to follow health directives to contain a disease, or the refusal of treatment of a contagious disease in a timely manner.
Per Offence: The player will be detained, fined for the cost of cure, as well as an additional fine of $20 per 15 minutes. The player may also be liable for others’ health costs should they be responsible for transmitting the disease - this can be disputed in court.



12.2 - Entering an ambulance without permission
A citizen found entering the ambulance of a Paramedic, without being attended to by the proper /emt-attend command.
Per offense: $40 fine



12.3 - Player Distribution of Cures to other Players
The sale or gifting of medical objectives, excluding items that are sold in pharmacies. Does not include goods sold in the hospital's pharmacy, excluding the Vaccine Prescription.
First Offence: $40 Fine per Objective.
Second Offence: $60 Fine per Objective + 15 Minutes Jail
Third Offence: $80 Fine per Objective + 30 Minutes Jail



12.4 - Doctors Selling in Bulk
Doctors, not Pharmacists, over-supplying medical objectives required to treat an illness. Over-supplying medical objectives required to treat an illness.
First Offence: Verbal Warning + Report to Health Secretaries
Second Offence: $40 fine + Report to Health Secretaries
Third Offence: $80 fine + Report to Health Secretaries



12.5 - Abusing /emt
A person is guilty if found with a frivolous use of the /emt command, or outside the use for medical purposes.
First offence: Verbal warning.
Second offence: $40 Fine.
Third offence: $60 Fine + 5 minute jail time.



12.6 - Disease Faking
The act of faking a disease in bad faith.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



12.7 - Infection
The act of transmitting a disease to another player, the refusal to follow health directives to contain a disease, the refusal of treatment of a contagious disease in a timely manner, or the unconsented cause of a non-contagious disease/diagnosis/injury.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



12.8 - Possessing Medical Objectives
The act of possessing, selling, trading, or crafting medical objectives not sold in the hospital's pharmacy outside Government-approved Medical Facilities is prohibited. Excludes the Vaccine Prescription.
Minimum Sentencing: $500 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $2,000 Fine + Suspension from Department of Health for a period of up to 2 months



12.9 - Unauthorized Medical Sales
The act of distributing pharmaceutical or medical goods on the property of government-owned medical facilities without approval from the Department of Health.
Per Offense: $100 Fine

13.0 - PVP & Trespassing
Initiating unwanted PvP in a city is illegal unless both parties give consent.
PvP is fully legal in the Wilderness.
A player may defend themselves with reasonable force should someone else initiate PvP on them.

13.1 - Verbal Threats
This is active when a player is threatening another player with the use of any type of weaponry or through any forms of communication in order to put them in danger or prompt them to commit an action.
Per Offense: $60 Fine



13.2 - Bank Trespassing
Trespassing behind the “no trespassing signs” in the bank, which includes going behind the glass and/or entering the vault.
First Offence: $100 fine and 10 minutes jail time
Second Offence: $200 fine and 20 minutes jail time
Third Offence and After: $300 fine and 25 minutes jail time



13.3 - Trial By Combat
In the event that any entity sues another, either the Plaintiff or the Defendant may request a Trial by Combat at any time. In the event that both Plaintiff and Defendant agree to a Trial by Combat, they shall settle the case through in-game PvP.



13.4 - Donation of Illicit Items
The act of donating illicit arms or illicit substances to government donation chests.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



13.5 - Drugging
The act of using drugs on another person without their consent or on an animal (pet, livestock, etc.) without the owner’s consent.
Per Offense: $500 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time



13.6 - Illicit Arms Possession
The act of possessing weaponry without a gun license.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



13.7 - Illicit Arms Trafficking
The act of selling, distributing, and or trafficking any weapons without possessing the armourer qualification.
Per Offense: $500 Fine



13.8 - Illicit Substance Possession
The act of possessing any substance deemed to be illicit.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



13.9 - Illicit Substance Trafficking
The act of selling, distributing, and or trafficking any substance deemed to be illicit.
Minimum Sentencing: $1,000 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $10,000 Fine + 60 Minutes Jail Time



13.10 - Weapon of Mass Destruction Possession
The act of possessing any item deemed to be a weapon of mass destruction.
Per Offense: $500 Fine



13.11 - Weapon of Mass Destruction Trafficking
The act of selling, distributing, and or trafficking any substance deemed to be a weapon of mass destruction.
Minimum Sentencing: $1,000 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $10,000 Fine + 60 Minutes Jail Time



13.12 Assault
The act of hitting a player, causing a loss of no more than 3 hearts; or putting them in a place of danger (such as pointing a weapon at them).
Per Offense: $100 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time



13.13 - Attempted Murder
The act of repetitively hitting a player, causing a loss of more than 3 hearts. This crime overrides Assault.
Per Offense: $75 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time



13.14 - Dispersal Order Breech
The act of violating an established dispersal order.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



13.15 - Falsely Claiming Self Defense
The act of falsing claiming you acted under self defense when committing another crime.
Per Offense: Doubles the punishment for all crimes which were claimed to be under self defense.




13.16 - Harassment, Alarm, or Distress
The act of disorderly behavior towards an individual or a group of individuals, that may be deemed to a reasonable person as causing harassment, alarm, or distress.
Minimum Sentencing: $500 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $10,000 Fine + 60 Minutes Jail Time



13.17 - Violent Disorder
The act of 3 or more persons who are present together where they use or threaten unlawful violence, where the conduct of is such as would cause a person at the scene to fear for their own personal safety, each of the persons using or threatening unlawful violence is guilty of violent disorder.
Minimum Sentencing: $500 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $10,000 Fine + 60 Minutes Jail Time



13.18 - Murder
The act of unlawfully killing another player. This law overrides attempted murder, assault, and trespassing.
Per Offence: $100 fine + 10 minutes jail time



13.19 - ATM Robbery
The act of stealing money from an ATM or attempting to hack an ATM.
Per Offense: $100 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time



13.20 - Bank Robbery
The act of trespassing specifically within the bank’s vault. This crime overrides Trespass.
Per Offense: $4000 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time



13.21 - NPC Robbery
The act of stealing or attempting to steal money from NPCs.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



13.22 - Trespass
The act of entering or being in a place without the consent of the owner, occupier or person having control or management of the place; or to remain in the place after being requested by a person in authority to leave the place.
Per Offense: $100 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time



13.23 - Unauthorized Office Ownership
The act of stealing or taking control over government office they have no claim to by way of working for the relevant government body.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



13.24 - Serial Killing
The act of unlawfully killing more than 7 players before being arrested. This law overrides attempted murder, murder, assault, and trespassing.
Per Offense: $200/murder + 60 Minutes Jail Time



13.25 - Kidnapping
The act of locking a player who did not give consent or a tamed pet that the kidnapper does not own in a room without any way to get out (excluding commands).
Per Offense: $100 fine + 5 minutes jail time



13.26 - Hostage Holding
The act of holding a player at gunpoint and not letting them leave until they pay you “ransom”. This crime overrides assault and/or kidnapping.
Per Offense: $100 fine + 10 minutes jail time

14.0 - Transportation & Roads
All main roads must be 9 blocks wide, consisting of black concrete, black concrete powder tarmac, and white concrete, white concrete powder lines. All narrow roads must be 5 blocks wide, consisting of black concrete, black concrete powder tarmac. All roads where practicable will have a footpath and guttering.
Vehicles are any rideable entities and must follow all road laws when being driven/ridden.
Animals will be handled by the DOI if they need to be put in the pound.

14.1 - Careless Driving
The act of driving on the sidewalk or anywhere off the road or not as a road or drivable area assigned or marked region with the exception of on your own plot; blocking the street and or traffic; not driving in an appropriate speed (driving too slowly or too fast); driving on the wrong side of the road; driving in a way that endangers drivers or pedestrians; driving in the wrong direction.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



14.2 - Vehicle Abandonment
The act of abandoning a vehicle by leaving it on public or government land and not in a designated parking bay, parked on a plot without the consent of the plot owner, or left in a designated parking bay for a period of over 14 days.
Per Offense: $100 Fine + Vehicle Impounded



15.0 - Court, Trials, and Police

15.1 - Frivolous Court Case

Lodging a legal case that has no serious purpose or value.
Per Offence: $60 Fine.



15.2 - Perjury
The act of giving knowingly incorrect testimony in Court.
Minimum Sentencing: $1,000 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $50,000 Fine + 60 Minutes Jail Time



15.3 - Obstruction of Justice
Wilfully interfering with the process of justice through influencing, threatening, harming, or impeding a witness, potential witness, police officer or by providing false information.
First Offence: Verbal Warning
Second Offence: 5 Minutes Jail + $10 Fine
Third Offence: 10 Minutes Jail + $20 Fine



15.4 - Resisting Arrest
The act of disregarding a directive given to you by a member of the Department of Justice while being wanted.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



15.5 - Contempt of Court
The disobedience of an order of a court.
Conduct tending to obstruct or interfere with the orderly administration of justice also qualifies as contempt of court. A party that fails to perform a specific act, in accordance with a judgment by a court, can be charged with contempt and subsequently penalized.
First Offense: $500 Fine
Second Offense: $1000 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail
Third Offense: Maximum $2500, up to 10 Minutes Jail.



15.6 - Contempt of Congress
To refuse to testify, won't provide information requested by the House or the Senate, or obstructs an inquiry by a congressional committee.
First Offense: $1500 fine and 10 minutes of jail time
Second Offense: $2000 fine and 20 minutes of jail time
Third Offense: $4000 fine, 40 minutes of jailtime, and a Censure



15.7 - Police Misconduct
The act of issuing punishments that conflict with the punishments specifically outlined in law.
Minimum Sentencing: $500 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $10,000 Fine + 30 Minutes Jail Time + Suspension from Department of Justice for a period of up to 2 months



15.8 - False Accusations
The act of falsely accusing someone of a crime and attempting to incur legal punishment when they could reasonably infer that the accused was innocent.
Per Offense: $100 Fine

16.0 - Corruption, Government, & Elections

16.1 - Corruption

The act of using a government position to act to give some advantage inconsistent with official duty and the rights of others to unfairly benefit oneself, or someone else. By applying, being appointed to, or being elected into a position in government, the player agrees to serve the server over themselves.
Minimum Sentencing: $5,000 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $25,000 Fine + removal and exclusion of all parties involved from public office for a period of two months



16.2 - Political Espionage
The act of participating in or being accessory to the gathering, infiltration, or compromise of any sensitive information related to a political group or entity, that has not already been released to the public.
Minimum Sentencing: $5,000 Fine + 15 Minutes Jail Time
Maximum Sentencing: $20,000 Fine + 60 Minutes Jail Time + removal and exclusion of all parties involved from public office for a period of two months



16.3 - Whistleblower Laws
A whistleblower is an entity or individual that presents information to another individual or organization about an entity or individual who is involved with any activity that is deemed illegal, illicit, unsafe, or a waste, fraud, or abuse of taxpayer funds. If a whistleblower comes forward with information regarding any activity that is deemed illegal, illicit, unsafe, or a waste, fraud, or abuse of taxpayer funds, they are entitled to anonymity.

Per Offence: Up to $2000 Fine.

Whistleblower Suppression Law
No employer may discharge, demote, suspend, threaten, harass, or in any other manner discriminate against a covered individual in the terms and conditions of employment of the covered individual because of any lawful act done by the covered individual to report information regarding a violation of a corporate crime.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail



16.4 - Breach of Integrity
Where an individual shares information of classified nature when unauthorised.
Per Offence: Maximum $5,000 - $20,000 fine



16.5 - Electoral Fraud
Any player caught rigging/meddling with an election through, but not limited to: the use of alternate accounts, bribery, and or threats.
Per Offence: Courts may order up to $25,000 in fines + issue a temporary or permeant barring from holding public office.



16.6 - Treason
The act of a party in federal office who is caught attempting to maliciously sabotage or undermine the stability, sovereignty, and/or national security of the government of Redmont.
Minimum Sentencing: $5,000 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $25,000 Fine + removal and exclusion of all parties involved from public office for a period of two months



16.7 - Bribery
The act of offering, giving, soliciting, or receiving an item or service of value to influence an individual holding public office or serving in a legal capacity.
Individual Fine: Up to $10,000 + Damages + up to 10 mins Jail + Barred from holding public office for up to 2 months.

17.0 - Miscellaneous Laws
Courts may sentence to a maximum of $5000 Fine + 40 Minutes Jail for any offences violated in this section, unless otherwise specified more, in accordance with the Criminal Court Sentencing Act.

17.1 - Incitement
The attempt to coax or encourage someone to break the law.
First Offence: $100 fine
Second Offence: $200 fine + 5 min Jail
Third Offence: $300 fine + 10 min Jail



17.2 - Sign Abuse
The act of frivolously using a government service sign.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



17.3 - Weaponry in safe zones
The possession of weapons in safe zones (Hospital, Spawn, Capitol, Government House, and the Courthouse)
First Offence: Verbal Warning
Second Offence: $40 Fine
Third Offence: $60 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail



17.4 - Public Nuisance
Willfully causing substantial and unreasonable interference by disrupting, destroying, or trolling DPA-sanctioned Events, government-sanctioned events, or political rallies of any kind in its planning, building/creation, and or execution.
First Offence: Verbal Warning + Dismissal from event (if participating).
Second Offence: $60 Fine.
Third Offence: Jailed until the conclusion of the event.



17.5 - Cheating Act
The act of asking for an exam answer, or deliberately giving or attempting to give an exam answer with intent to cheat.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



17.6 - Buffing
The act of using buffs on another person without their consent or on an animal (pet, livestock, etc.) without the owner’s consent.
Per Offense: $500 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time



17.7 - Donation of Illicit Items
The act of donating illicit arms, weapons of mass destruction, or illicit substances to government donation chests.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



17.8 - Conspiracy
The act of intending to commit a crime, without yet having done so.
Minimum Sentencing: $500 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time
Maximum Sentencing: $25,000 Fine + 120 Minutes Jail Time



17.9 - Slander
A purposeful false statement of a player to cause damage to that player's reputation.
Per Offence: Minimum of $50.



17.10 - Locking Items
The act of locking another citizen's property on their land without permission.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



17.11 - Suspension Violation
The act of ignoring the orders of a government department to cease in taking an exam for a job of said department.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



17.12 - Obstruction of an Emergency Service
An entity who has conspired to or engaged in obstructing functions vital to public safety.
Per Offence: Up to $4000 Fine.



17.13 - Accomplice to a Crime
The act of giving assistance to the perpetrator of a crime.
Per Offense: Maximum 75% of listed offense punishments.



17.14 - Accessory to a Crime
The act of giving assistance to the perpetrator of a crime without directly taking part in it.
Per Offense: Maximum 50% of listed offense punishments.



17.15 - Government Impersonation
The act of impersonating a government official or a government employee for financial or other personal gain.
Minimum Sentencing: $500 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time
Maximum Sentencing: $2,000 Fine + 15 Minutes Jail Time



17.16 - Illicit Substance Possession
The act of possessing any substance deemed to be illicit.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



17.17 - Illicit Substance Trafficking
The act of selling, distributing, and or trafficking any substance deemed to be illicit.
Minimum Sentencing: $1,000 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $10,000 Fine + 60 Minutes Jail Time



17.18 - Illicit Arms Trafficking
The act of selling, distributing, and or trafficking any weapons without possessing the armourer qualification.
Per Offense: $500 Fine



17.19 - Weapon of Mass Destruction Possession
The act of possessing any item deemed to be a weapon of mass destruction.
Per Offense: $500 Fine



17.20 - Weapon of Mass Destruction Trafficking
The act of selling, distributing, and or trafficking any substance deemed to be a weapon of mass destruction.
Minimum Sentencing: $1,000 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $10,000 Fine + 60 Minutes Jail Time



17.21 - Enslavement
The act of subjecting an individual to slavery, in all cases, or involuntary servitude, unless as a punishment for crime.
Minimum Sentencing: $5,000 Fine
Maximum Sentencing: $25,000 Fine + 120 Minutes Jail Time



17.22 - Breaking Attorney-Client Privilege
Disclosing discussions of a client without their written permission.
First offense: $5000 - 5 minutes
Second offense: $6500 10 minutes of jail
Third offense and beyond: Courts may order up to $20000 with $7500 being the minimum, and 20 minutes jail



17.21 - Illegal Advertising
The act of advertising a business or political campaign to a public chat not designated for advertising, not responding to a question that someone else asked and not said within /ad or a designated channel for advertising.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



17.22 - Frivolous Government Application
The act of creating an application for a Government Job or Expression of Interest without serious intent of being accepted.
Per Offense: $100 Fine



17.23 - Dereliction of Community Service
To act in a way as to avoid serving your assigned Community Service Minutes, committing crimes while serving Community Service Minutes, or generally abusing your time while serving Community Service.
First Offence: $500 fine + 5 mins jail
Second Offence: $1,000 fine + 10 mins jail
Further Offences: $2,000 fine + 15 Minutes Jail

17.24 Disrupting a Tour
Disrupting a Tour Guide who is giving a tour or disrupting a person who is on a tour with an official Tour Guide (employed under the Department of Education).. This can include anything that disrupts a tour guide, such as punching and killing.
First Offense (Per Tour): Verbal Warning
Subsequent Offenses: $500 + 15 minutes jail time

Staff retain full discretion over server rules and anything beyond these listed rules.
