Amend the Constitution​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Judiciary Expansion Act.'

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

(3) This Act has been authored by Deputy Speaker Scassany.

(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Representative TrueDarklander.

2 - Reasons
(1) The current Judiciary needs more judges to reduce individual workload
(2) To amend the Constitution of Redmont.

3 - Amendments
(1) Section 15 of the Constitution shall have the applicable line amended to:
"15. District Court of Redmont
(2) Patronage. There shall not be more than three magistrates on the District Court of Redmont at any given time."

(2) Section 17 of the Constitution shall have the applicable line amended to:
"17. Federal Court of Redmont
(2) Patronage. There shall not be more than three six Judges on the Federal Court of Redmont at any given time."

(3) Section 21 of the Constitution shall be amended as follows:
"21. Judicial Officers
(1) Magistrates are appointed by the Supreme Court to serve on the District Court.
(a) A Magistrate may be removed by the Supreme Court at any time."
