Amend the Jail Activities Act
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Jail Activities Limitation Act'.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative TheReal42Person.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. Snowy_Heart.
2 - Reasons
(1) Criminals are jailed for large amounts of time for their crimes.
(2) They can mine for 2-3 minutes and eliminate all of their time, only serving those 2-3 minutes.
(a) This means that no criminal is being punished for their crimes.
(3) Criminals are abusing the jail time reduction, which must stop.
(4) Players outside the jail give items to jailed players so they can have a reduced time.
3 - The “Jail Activities Act” shall be amended as follows:
“4 - Limitations
(1) Any criminal may not have more than 50% of their jail time removed via any activity.”
