Establish legal guidelines for the creation and management of National Parks & Natural Wonders.​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Interior Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by: Rep. GoldBlooded
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by: Sen. Nacholebraa

2 - Reasons
(1) The purpose of this legislation is to establish legal guidelines for the creation and management of National Parks and Natural Wonders within the Commonwealth of Redmont, as overseen by the Department of the Interior in conjunction with the Department of Construction & Transportation.

3 - Administration
(1) The Department of the Interior is entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the administration, management, and control of national parks and natural wonders, including the management of public lands within their boundaries. To fulfill this mandate, the Department of the Interior is authorized to utilize and occupy these lands.
(2) The Department of Construction & Transportation is entrusted with the responsibility of constructing national parks and natural wonders at the direction of the Interior Department.

4 - Land Usage
(1) The Department of the Interior is empowered to define specific boundaries encompassing designated areas of land.
(a) Land contained within these boundaries shall be designated as either National Parks or Natural Wonders and be subject to the provisions of this Act.

5 - Regulations
(1) The Department of the Interior, in conjunction with the Department of Construction & Transportation, is authorized to establish regulations beyond the scope of this Act, which may encompass:
(a) Establishment, preservation, and administration of parks.
(b) Oversight of the location, standards, maintenance and other improvements within National Parks and Natural Wonders.
(c) Surveying of public land.

6 - Enforcement
(1) The Department of the Interior (DOI) is assigned the responsibility of upholding the provisions of this Act.
(2) The Department of Construction and Transportation (DCT) may appoint construction personnel from its department with the responsibility of conducting infrastructure and construction of national parks and natural wonders in this Act.

7 - Rescind
(1) Act of Congress - National Parks Act is rescinded.
