Repair Impounds

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:​

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This bill may be cited as the "Impound Repair Act"
(2) This bill will be enacted immediately upon signage
(3) This bill was penned by Representative BubbaRC and talked over with Justice Secretary JoanM999

2 - Reason
As of right now anybody can just stuff their car full of illegal goods and roll it in front of spawn to have it impounded, then all of those illegal goods are stored by the DOJ without their knowledge

3 - Checking the inventory
All cars MUST have their inventory searched before being impounded, the only other legal way to search a car inventory is through a warrant, all cars in the impound inventory at the time of the passage of this bill may be searched at the discretion of the Justice secretary

NAY - Just creates more work for the police and searching without a warrant is deeply, deeply troubling.

This is an attack on basic liberties and freedoms due to the fact that searching becomes automatic.

What's next? Pat downs for citizens for crossing the street? How far would you take this philosophy?

And before anyone says anything like "You have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide" look up who is famous for saying that.

Every Rep who voted AYE on this should be ashamed in themselves and I URGE them to reconsider.
