A BILL TO

Add Waffles to the List of Illicit Substances







The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:


PART I — PRELIMINARIES

1. Short Title and Enactment


(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Illegalize Inconsiderate Waffles Act’

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

(3) This Act has been authored by Rep Incarnation__.

(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Sen xRsp_.

(5) This Act amends the following acts:

(a) Criminal Terminology Act

2. Reasons and Intent

(1) Due to recent events, supporting Waffles has become linked to morally unjust actions.

(2) There is a real-life precedent to banning symbols used by, or associated with, entities that promote hatred and toxicity.

(3) Adding Waffles to the list of illicit substances will be seen as a strong stance against griefing and toxicity.

PART II — AMENDMENTS

1. Amendments to the
Criminal Terminology Act

(1) Section 4 of the Criminal Terminology Act shall be amended as follows:

4 - Illicit Substances

(1) Illicit Substances are to be defined as any substance deemed illicit through the amendment of this bill.

(b) The Following Substances are deemed illicit.

(ii) Waffle

(iii) Honey Waffle


PART III — TRANSITIONAL PERIOD

(1) Waffles and Honey Waffles, at the time of assent of this bill, may be turned over to the Department of Homeland Security for a period of 14 days. In return, Citizens may not be charged for possession of Waffles and Honey Waffles until 14 days after assent of this bill.
