Amend the constitution

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Harsher Presidential Requirements Act'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Sen. zLost
(4) This Act has been proposed by Rep. ANDREASP15
(5) This Act has been co-sponsored by Sen. Yeet_Boy

2 - Reasons
(1) Presidents should not be inactive within the community.
(2) There should be harsher requirements to run for presidents.

3 - Amendments
Part III, Section 24 of the constitution will be changed from:
“In order to run for President, the player needs to meet these requirements:

• Has been 4 months since the player’s initial join date.
• Has accrued 300 hours of active playtime and 12 hours of playtime within the last 30 days.
• Is an active participant in the community, in-game, on discord, and on the forums.
• At the beginning of every presidential term, all cabinet positions must be nominated/re-nominated and approved by the Senate.
• A President cannot serve consecutive terms.

In order to run for Vice President, the player needs to meet these requirements:

• Has accrued 150 hours of active playtime.
• Has accrued 12 hours of playtime within the last 30 days.
• Is an active participant in the community, in-game, on discord, and on forums.
• At the beginning of every presidential term, all cabinet positions must be nominated/re-nominated and approved by the Senate.
• A Vice President cannot be the last President."

To:

“In order to run for President, the player needs to meet these requirements:

• Has been 4 months since the player’s initial join date.
• Has accrued 300 hours of active playtime and 48 hours of playtime within the last 30 days.
• Is an active participant in the community, in-game, on discord, and on the forums.
• At the beginning of every presidential term, all cabinet positions must be nominated/re-nominated and approved by the Senate.
• A President cannot serve consecutive terms.
• A President must maintain at least 24 hours of playtime in the last 30 days for their entire term, unless a notice is given beforehand.

In order to run for Vice President, the player needs to meet these requirements:

• Has accrued 150 hours of active playtime.
• Has accrued 24 hours of playtime within the last 30 days.
• Is an active participant in the community, in-game, on discord, and on forums.
• At the beginning of every presidential term, all cabinet positions must be nominated/re-nominated and approved by the Senate.
• A Vice President cannot be the last President.
• A Vice President must maintain at least 12 hours of playtime in the last 30 days for their entire term, unless a notice is given beforehand."
