Make impersonations of government officials and employees illegal

The people of DemocracyCraft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Government Impersonation Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) The Act has been co-sponsored by: Sen. awwimnicki0202

2 - Reasons
(1) Impersonating a government official should be illegal, especially when impersonators target new and/or inexperienced players.
(2) This would discourage individuals from pretending to be someone they’re not for personal gain.

3 - Definitions
(1) Government Official:
a. An individual that holds a leadership position in the local or federal government, including but not limited to Mayors, members of Congress and Cabinet, the Vice President, and the President.

(2) Government Employee:
a. An individual that holds a position as an employee in the local or federal government, including but not limited to Police Officers, Economists, and Building Inspectors.

4 - Terms
(1) Impersonating a government official or a government employee for financial or other personal gain shall be illegal.
(2) For every offence, the perpetrator shall be fined $1,000 and spend 10 minutes in jail.
(3) This shall go under the “Miscellaneous Laws” section.

Should include a provision along the lines of "Except where protected by the Constitution", more specifically the right to Political Communication could become an issue with this law in my opinion.
