RESOLUTION
to
Repurpose the Fairgrounds

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress, do hereby formally enact this non-binding resolution, as a request to our Government:

1 - Short Title

(1) This Resolution may be cited as the 'Fairgrounds Repurposing Resolution.'
(2) This Resolution has been authored by: LcnGlazer (Plura72)
(3) This Resolution has been co-sponsored by: T04DS74 (ToadKing)

2 - Reasons

(1) The DPA now has the Events world to host its events.
(2) The Fairgrounds have been unused recently.

3 - Terms

(1) The Department of Construction and Transportation shall region the Fairgrounds into commercial plots and auction them for suitable public use.
(2) The Department of Construction and Transportation shall construct the necessary roads and provide public transportation access to the newly designated region.

The DCT/DPA is currently planning to build/organize something on the fairgrounds. But the use of the “abolished” fairgrounds is restricted to C-Plots in this Resolution. Completely abolishing all of the fairgrounds would indeed help with the plot crisis, but the plots would be auctioned insanely fast, mostly to richer players, who already own most of the plots. The real estate market would overflow, we need to abolish or reduce them step by step. This resolution is too roughly written for that. In Addition, why C-Plots? Why can’t we use our space innovative, instead of just putting more C-Plots?
