Executive Order No. 07/2025: Monthly Economic Report and Auditing Mandate
By the authority granted to me by the Redmont Constitution, I, Unitymaster, President of the Commonwealth of Redmont, hereby issue the following Executive Order:Section 1: Purpose
To ensure transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making within the Commonwealth’s economy, the Department of Commerce (DOC) is mandated to produce a comprehensive monthly economic report. This report will evaluate economic health, highlight top-performing companies, and foster growth by recognizing new and upcoming businesses.Section 2: Components of the Monthly Economic Report
(a) Economic Overview:The DOC shall provide a detailed analysis of the Commonwealth’s economy, including:
- GDP Growth: An estimate of the Commonwealth’s economic growth compared to the previous month.
- Inflation Rate: A calculated inflation rate based on price changes in key goods and services.
- Market Trends: Observations on significant economic trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- A ranked evaluation of the top 10 companies in the Commonwealth based on:
- Revenue generated.
- Employment contributions.
- Innovation and community impact.
- Each company will receive a brief analysis of its performance, strengths, and notable achievements.
- Purpose:
To foster economic diversity and support emerging businesses, the DOC shall highlight new and upcoming enterprises in the monthly report. - Eligibility:
- Businesses operational for less than three months or demonstrating significant recent growth or innovation.
- Sectors eligible for highlighting include manufacturing, retail, services, agriculture, and other industries.
- Recognition Process:
- Citizens may nominate businesses for consideration.
- The DOC will evaluate nominees based on their contributions to economic diversity, innovation, and community impact.
- Publication:
- Each report will feature 3-5 businesses, including their names, services, and key achievements.
- One business may be awarded the “Rising Star Award” for exceptional contributions.
Section 3: Auditing Mandate
(a) Purpose:To ensure economic integrity and compliance with regulations, the DOC shall conduct regular audits of registered Corporations and Limited Liability Companies within the Commonwealth.
(b) Audit Scope:
- Evaluate financial practices, including revenue reporting and tax compliance.
- Investigate any discrepancies or irregularities flagged by citizens or government departments.
- Assess adherence to applicable laws and standards.
- The results of audits will be summarized in the economic report.
- Non-compliance or fraudulent practices will be referred to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for further investigation.
Section 4: Public Access and Transparency
(a) Accessibility:- The monthly economic report shall be made publicly available via the Department of Commerce’s official channels.
- Citizens may request additional information or clarification through a DOC ticket system.
The DOC shall provide opportunities for citizens to submit feedback, nominate businesses for highlighting, and report suspected economic irregularities.
Section 5: Enforcement and Compliance
(a) Monitoring:The DOC shall ensure timely publication of the monthly report and adherence to the outlined processes.
(b) Penalties for Non-Compliance:
Failure to produce the monthly report or conduct audits as mandated will result in internal reviews and potential disciplinary action against responsible officials.
Section 6: Enactment
This Executive Order shall take effect immediately and supersedes any previous orders conflicting with its provisions.“One Vision. One Purpose. One Dream.”
