By the authority vested in me by the Redmont Constitution
I, Theory Fontaine, President of the Commonwealth of Redmont, do declare the following under this Executive Order:
I, Theory Fontaine, President of the Commonwealth of Redmont, do declare the following under this Executive Order:
Whereas, a "President may issue and revoke Executive Orders to ensure good governance of the server" (Const. 24(5)).
Whereas, Executive Order 01/26 - DCT-DoC Auction Cooperation Policy established a policy governing real estate auctions conducted by the Department of Construction and Transportation in the #real-estate channel.
Whereas, the Department of Construction and Transportation maintains its own Auctions Policy that already governs the conduct of those auctions.
Whereas, the matters addressed by Executive Order 01/26 are duplicated by the Department's Auctions Policy, such that the Order serves no independent purpose.
Whereas, Executive Order 01/26 constrains the Department from making beneficial technical improvements to its Auctions Policy, to the detriment of its workflow.
Whereas, upon consultation with the Department of Construction and Transportation, repealing Executive Order 01/26 will allow the Department to administer real estate auctions efficiently through its own departmental policy.
Whereas, Section 29(1)(b) of the Constitution provides that Secretaries are responsible for "creating and amending departmental policy in accordance with the President's direction."
