How do you plan on using your grant funding?
Redmont Publications assists with preparing academic research and media primarily in the areas of law and economics. It is registered under §5(4) of the Business Structuring Act.
As part of our research we've identified a series of players and institutions who are actively engaging in or planning to engage in substantial research projects on Redmont jurisprudence, financial reform, and political science. Redmont Publications does not fund or publish that research, supervise scholars, or provide scholarships or grants. Its mandate is specific and focused on facilitating the peer-reviewal and publication assembly process.
This work is needed.
This business is not profitable and is oriented largely toward the public interest. There is a pressing need for independent institutions to assist with research projects particularly given the recent influx of academically-minded new players. There has also been an influx of new solicitors, barristers, and attorneys (many of whom are still seeking employment): with grant funding we intend to hire two as publication editors and peer-reviewers.
We also intend to use grant funding to incent publications to be submitted to the firm. Authors who submit research media that is complete and meets a rigorous quality standard will receive a $1,000 bursary.
Staffing costs in the legal field are high, variable, and market-dependent. Costs range from $1,500-2,000 per week.
