Criminalize drugging other citizens​


The people of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
  1. This Act may be cited as the “Drugging Criminalization Act.”
  2. This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
  3. This Bill was authored by Representative ElainaThomas29.
  4. This Bill was written in collaboration with DoJ Secretary JoanM999 and DoJ Deputy Secretary ElainaThomas29.
  5. This bill was inspired by Hanhatfre and FriedPotaters.

2 - Reasons
  1. Currently, citizens are able to be injected with drugs by other players.
  2. This drugging of other players can lead to a player overdosing and dying.
  3. There is currently no law that makes it illegal to drug other players without their consent.

3 – Terms
  1. A person who drugs another person without their consent or an animal (pet, livestock, etc.) without the owner’s consent will be charged as follows:
    1. First Offence: $50 fine and 5 minutes of jail time.
    2. Second Offence: $100 fine and 10 minutes of jail time.
    3. Third Offence and After: $200 fine and 15 minute of jail time.

Amend the Drugging Criminalization Act

The people of DemocracyCraft, through their elected representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into laws:

1 - Short title and enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the “Drugging Criminalization Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act was authored by Representative Eastray_.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Representative hugebob23456.

2 - Reason
(1) It’s illegal to drug someone to death without their consent.
(2) It’s not legal to drug someone’s pet without the owner’s consent.
(3) Pets develop emotional attachments to their owners and vice versa.
(4) Animals should be protected from being injected with stimulants that could kill them.

3 - Drugging
(1) The term “Drugging” now, shall be redefined by section 3.3.2 of this bill.
(2) Upon signing of this act, the law “Drugging” under “PvP and Trespassing” shall be updated accordingly to follow this act.
(3) “Drugging” shall now be changed and redefined as follow:
1. Old:
“A person who drugs another person without their consent.”
2. New:
“A person who drugs another person without their consent or an animal (pet, livestock, etc.) without the owner’s consent.

4 - Enforcement and punishment
(1) The Department of Justice shall have the jurisdiction to investigate and fine individuals who violate “Drugging”:
First offence: $50 fine + 5 minutes jail time.
Second offence: $100 fine + 10 minutes jail time.
Third offence: $200 fine + 15 minutes jail time
