Stop the Taxation of Deported Citizens​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress, do hereby formally enact this non-binding resolution, as a request to our Government:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Deported Tax Act.’
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by: Rep. steveshat
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by: Rep. Dumbyhead1234

2 - Reasons
(1) Deported citizens can't enter the country.
(a) Deported citizens should not have to pay a tax when they are not permitted to enter the country, participate in events, or be a part of the democracy.

(2) No reason to return.
(a) The goal of deportation is to discourage citizens from breaking rules again. Taxing deported citizens can cause them to lose interest after losing a lot of money while not being able to interact with the community and play as the server intends.

(3) Deportation is enough punishment.
(a) Deportation itself is a great enough punishment for a citizen who has broken the rules. Taxing citizens while deported is unfair and immoral. The large taxes these citizens have to pay while deported is great enough to cause financial hardship.

3 - Terms
(1) Stop taxing balances of citizens who are deported.
