This is an official DOC enforcement notice. De Ruyter Bank have missed filings for their last 2 reports (May and June). The July report is due tomorrow.

Per BITA Part IV Section 22(1) and (2), late filings cause De Ruyter Bank to be liable for a penalty of $2.500 per day for their first missed report, and $5.000 per day for repeat failure. At time of writing De Ruyter Bank are liable for $300.000 in late filing penalties as seen from the attachment.

The DOC is willing to provide De Ruyter Bank a cure period of 7 days, with the possibility of extension given a valid reason. If not cured or no response has been received in 7 days, the department will consider escalating FIEA enforcement, such as freeze orders, receivership and referral to the DOJ for criminal prosecution.
