RESOLUTION
To

Remove the incumbent Mayor of the Town of Oakridge​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress, do hereby formally enact this non-binding resolution, as a request to our Government:

1 - Short Title
(1) This Resolution may be cited as the 'Cracked Mayor Resolution.'
(2) This Resolution has been authored by: Rep. GoldBlooded.
(3) This Resolution has been co-sponsored by: Sen. Nacholebraa

3 - Reasons
(1) WHEREAS, the Congress of the Commonwealth of Redmont is entrusted with safeguarding the welfare and interests of its citizens, including the residents of Oakridge; and
(2) WHEREAS, the role of Mayor of Oakridge carries with it significant responsibilities, including but not limited to representing the city, making informed decisions, and upholding the official duties of the office; and
(3) WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Congress of the Commonwealth of Redmont that CrackedAmoeba1, the incumbent Mayor of Oakridge, has consistently demonstrated inactivity and a failure to fulfill the official duties associated with the position; and
(4) WHEREAS, the citizens of Oakridge rely on their Mayor to actively engage in the governance of the city, respond to community needs and concerns, and work diligently on their behalf; and
(5) WHEREAS, it is the prerogative and responsibility of the Cabinet of the Commonwealth of Redmont, in accordance with relevant legal procedures, to ensure that the Mayor of Oakridge is capable and willing to fulfill the responsibilities of the office; and
(6) WHEREAS, it is imperative to take immediate action to address the issue of inactivity and failure to uphold official duties to protect the interests and well-being of the citizens of Oakridge;

4 - Removal of the Oakridge Mayor
(1) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Congress of the Commonwealth of Redmont that we hereby call upon the President and the Cabinet of the Commonwealth of Redmont to initiate proceedings for the immediate removal of CrackedAmoeba1 from the position of Oakridge Mayor due to inactivity and failure to uphold the official duties of his office.
(2) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this decision is made in accordance with the relevant constitutional provisions and legal requirements governing the removal of an elected Mayor from their office within the Commonwealth of Redmont.
(3) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be transmitted to the Cabinet of the Commonwealth of Redmont for their immediate consideration and appropriate action.
