Amend and clarify, put into law the Consequence Act​

The people of DemocracyCraft, through their elected representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment​

(1) This Act may be cited as the “Consequence act”. ​

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage. ​

(3) This Act was authored by Representative Eastray_​

(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Senate Xerxesmc.​

Consequence Act

3 – Reason​

(1) To clear up the misunderstanding and confusion caused by the wording of the original Consequence Act.​

(2) Provide more examples for extra explanation.​

4 - Term

(1) A new law call “Mass murder” shall be put under PVP and Trespassing after “Murder”.​

(2) If a person is found to have committed murders, they will be punished by their respective Murder charge(s) AND Mass murder charge under​

the following conditions:​

1. The kill count is less than 3:​

No change.​

2. The kill count is between 3-5:​

Per offence: $20 per kill.​

3. The kill count is more than 5:​

Per offence: $30 per kill.​

Note: This kill count only applies to murders BEFORE the arrest and resets AFTERWARDS. ​

5 - Example scenarios

Note: All names used here have no real meaning or point to any player.​

(1) A person called "A" committed 2 murders and got arrested:​

- Their kill count: 2 (less than 3) => No mass murder charge applied.​

- Fine: $100x2 murder charges. ($200)​

- Jail time: 20 minutes.​

(2) A person called "B" committed 4 murders and got arrested:​

- Their kill count: 4 (between 3 and 5) => Mass murder charge applied for a range of 3-5.​

- Fine: $100x4 murder charges + $20x4 mass murder charges. ($480)​

- Jail time: 40 minutes.​

The person called "B" after getting released from the last jail session decided to commit 5 murders and got arrested:​

- Their kill count: 5 (between 3 and 5) => Mass murder charge applied for a range of 3-5.​

- Fine: $100x5 murder charges + $20x5 mass murder charges. ($600)​

- Jail time: 50 minutes.​

(3) A person called "C" committed 6 murders and got arrested:​

- Their kill count: 6 (more than 5) => Mass murder charge applied for a range greater than 5.​

- Fine: $100x6 murder charges + $30x6 mass murder charges. ($780)​

- Jail time: 60 minutes.​
