Amend the Constitution​

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the "Congress Attorney Act November 2021" or “CA Act November 2021"
(2) This act shall take effect upon signage
(3) This act is co-sponsored by ReinausPrinzzip
(4) This bill creates the Office of the Congress Attorney and modifies the Constitution


2 - Reasons
As the Executive has the Attorney General to deal with the legal matters towards that branch, the legislative should also have an Attorney to help them with legal matters, that being advising on legal matters for bills, checking bills for legal issues or representing the Congress in the Courts

3 - Creation of the Congress Attorney Office

1. The Office of the Congress Attorney is hereby created.
2. The Congress Attorney (CA from now on) has the following duties:
   1. Give advice to Congress members
   2. Represent Congress in the Courts
   3. Oversee Congress bills to detect legal issues.
3. The CA will be appointed by the Speaker of the House and approved by the House and Senate with a supermajority.
4. In case of a vacancy, a new CA will be appointed with the procedure established in “3.3”.

4 - Constitutional Amendments

1. Section III - The President and The Cabinet
   1. “Offices of the Attorney General: Charged with legally defending, investigating, and prosecuting on behalf of the Government.”
      Will be changed to
      “Offices of the Attorney General: Charged with legally defending, investigating, and prosecuting on behalf of the Executive.”
2. Section I - The Congress (under “President of the Senate”)
   1. Office of the Congress Attorney: Charged with legally defending, advising and overseeing the Congress. The Office oversees the bills proposed by the Congress members. The Office of the Congress Attorney while a legislative Office is to act in an unbiased fashion. No member of the Office of the Congress Attorney may legally represent or assist in an intergovernmental dispute between the Legislative and Executive.
   2. Under “Incumbent Congressmen & Congresswomen”, “Congress Offices Members” is created
