Amend the Legislative Standards Act

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Committees are Broken Act'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by xEndeavour
(4) This Act has been proposed by Rep. zLost
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. xEndeavour

2 - Reasons
(1) The Committee Fix Act actually broke committees. Since the Committee Fix Act passed, there have been no committees at all. Its clear that the new system is not working.
(2) The new system was designed to make committees more exclusive and easy for parties and powerbrokers to stack full of people who agree with them. Committees work most effectively when they have a diversity of input and this system allows them to be stacked by parties and individual powerbrokers in Congress.
(2) The Committee system previously served us well where they were not able to be stacked and where they were inclusive of everyone in Congress.

3 - Rescind
(1) Committee Fix Act
(2) Double Trouble Act
