CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT
To
Amend the Constitution of Aventura​

BE IT ENACTED by the Council of Aventura:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Amendment may be cited as the "Commission An Artist Act".
(2) This Amendment shall take effect immediately upon its ratification.

2 - Reasons
(1) The Council of Aventura recognizes the importance of supporting artists who produce original campaign materials through their own effort and creativity.
(2) The Town of Aventura seeks to encourage campaigns driven by genuine community engagement rather than automated content generation.
(3) This Amendment establishes clear standards and penalties regarding AI-generated campaign content in order to protect the integrity and originality of local elections.

3 - Amendments
(1) Article III, Section II of the Constitution of Aventura is hereby amended to add the following subsections:

(4) Any individual declaring candidacy for an elected office within the Town of Aventura shall, upon declaration, be deemed to have agreed to the following Anti-AI Campaign Pledge:

"No candidate for elected office shall utilize artificial intelligence-generated campaign materials or other campaign content within any Aventura Discord channel. By posting such content, the candidate agrees to the imposition of scaling monetary fines starting at $1,000 for violations of this pledge."​

(5) Violations of subsection (4) shall result in the following monetary penalties:

(a) first offense shall result in a fine of $1,000.
(b) second offense shall result in a fine of $2,500.
(c) third or subsequent offense shall result in a fine of $5,000 per violation.

(6) The Council may establish additional enforcement procedures through Standing Orders or by-law.
