:aye: - The taxes seem fine to me, rich get taxed and poor get taxed less, everyones happy!

I believe staff have said this is not possible but I could be wrong

:nay: - As I've said before — whilst this bill is substantially better than the others I've commented on — I ultimately cannot support any bill regarding a chestshop tax which does not include the necessary provisions to include the price into the sign. If including the price onto the sign is confirmed as impossible by staff, then I would Aye this bill.

:nay: - So rich companies with a non-profit scheme, that would greatly affect them too.
Say you ran a Non-Profit Company dedicated to helping new players with a current company balance of 280k while you yourself only have 40k.

You would be in the (e) $300,000 to $499,999: 3% tax bracket.
Whereas you should only be fined (in my opinion) 1% due to below 50k.

:nay: - The general idea is good I feel. I just think that staff cannot implement it and also what Dogen said applies

:nay: - Though, as many others have said, the concept is theoretically honorable, staff likely wouldn't be able to implement this. Checking the balance of a chestshop's owner would be resource intensive, and ultimately antithetical to the point of a sales tax. Also, I concur with Dogen - non-profits would be punished the most. I think if we're going to work on the sales tax (which we shouldn't imo), then we should target different points than this one.
