Approve CBD acquisitions by the DCT to be converted into New Player CBDs​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress, do hereby formally enact this non-binding resolution, as a request to our Government:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Resolution may be cited as the “CBD Acquisition Resolution”.
(2)This Resolution was written by DSotH Pepecuu.
(3)This Resolution has been sponsored by SotH Omegabiebel.

2 - Reasons
(1) The Department of Construction and Transportation has conducted a review and identified viable CBD plots for conversion into New Player CBDs.
(2) To approve the pursuance of CBD acquisitions by the Department of Construction and Transport, in accordance with the Plot Regulations Act.

3 - Authorization of CBD Plot Acquisitions
(1) The 31st Congress of Redmont hereby approves the Department of Construction and Transport to pursue the acquisition of three viable CBD plots based on the rankings and findings from its report.
(2) The DCT shall make a fair offer to the current plot owners, referencing:
(a) The value of recently completed auction listings for CBD plots of similar size.
(b) The base rental cost of the CBD plot in question.
(3) The funds required for this acquisition shall be sourced from the DCGovernment’s balance.
(4) The DCT shall only pursue plots that were explicitly deemed viable in its official findings.

Nay, the CBDs on the report are no longer eligible, we’d be taking plots from active players.

We’ll need to amend the PRA to change the system in which CBDs are chosen, as they can be transferred faster than we can pass a resolution.
