COMPLAINT
The Plaintiff complains against the Defendant as follows:

WRITTEN STATEMENT FROM THE PLAINTIFF

On June 23rd (UTC), I traveled to spawn. I saw many civilians there, including JamesTheSlay, who was actively shooting and killing people with a gun. One of the citizens, Waffles_Man, warned me not to leave the spawn area because JamesTheSlay was killing anyone who tried to leave. I decided to kill him in order to allow the many civilians present at spawn to leave spawn freely. After I killed him the first time, JamesTheSlay continued his aggressive attacks and terrorist threats and started targeting me as well, because of this I killed him again, which finally pushed him to leave the spawn area.

the next day, officer roryyy_ arrested me for the killing of JamesTheSlay. When I told him that I had proof it was for a good cause, the officer told me to open a Discord ticket. After I created my ticket, the officer uncuffed me while the situation was being reviewed.

On June 27th, after leaving the server for a few minutes, I came back to find myself in prison. I was surprised because I had already opened a ticket regarding the incident, and the officer who put me in jail did not inform me of my rights.
I asked in the general chat, "Who put me in prison?" and then, "Wait, who is the cop here?" because I wanted to let the officer know that I had an open ticket. Despite the officer being online, no one responded.
I then asked roryyy_, who was also online at the time, if he was the one who put me in prison. He told me it wasn’t him and suggested I check /police records to see who did it. Unfortunately, I was in prison and couldn’t use that command

II. FACTS
1. JamesTheSlay(me) Brutally attacked multiple people at spawn on the 27th of June
2. To force me out Capouti killed JamesTheSlay twice
3. Capouti created a ticket to argue that it was self defense and Waffles_Man supported Capouti's idea
4. Roryyy_ said that under law it WAS self defense
5. Mask3d_Wolf ignored this and arrested Capouti anyways

III. CLAIMS FOR RELIEF
1. Loss of liberty and dignity

IV. PRAYER FOR RELIEF
The Plaintiff seeks the following from the Defendant:
1. $3000 Compensatory damages
2. $400 for emotional distress
3. $1000 in punitive damages

I am dismissing this case Sua Sponte under rule 2.1 for lack of standing.

Let us take a look at the definition of Self Defence:

(10) Self Defence
(a) A reasonable and proportionate defensive response to an imminent threat where a criminal action against the individual or property has been directly made, threatened, or implied.
(b) Crimes committed can be appealed under a claim of self defense, at which point all punishments are to be delayed until after the appeal.

Per the plaintiff's own statement, they killed JamesTheSlay "in order to allow the many civilians present at spawn to leave spawn freely". This does not fit the criteria of self-defense. A threat may have been made against others, but it was not made against the plaintiff. Thus, plaintiff's killing of JamesTheSlay constitutes murder, thus making plaintiff's subsequent arrest lawful.

This case is dismissed with prejudice. The court thanks all involved.
