To

Illegalize the trafficking of Buffs and Buff-related Items.

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment:

1. This Act may be cited as the “Buff-Trafficking-Act”
2. This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its Signage.
3. This Act was designed in cooperation with the leading representatives of Reveilles criminal side.

2 – Reasons

1. Buffs are meant to be controlled substances to foster criminal roleplay, as said by staff. They are meant to be illegal.
2. Illegality actually helps the black market, as stated by multiple representatives of the criminal world of Reveille.
3. There haven’t been any laws prohibiting the trafficking of Buffs yet, even though they have been introduced to the server at the beginning of April of this year.

3 – Offence:

1. Buff-Trafficking.
   1. Buff-Trafficking shall be defined as the act of selling Buffs or Buff related Items to players, or even offering to sell buffs to players OR Having a Chest Shop that sells Buffs or Buff-related-Items. (If its to a company name, the owner of the company is charged). Trading Items in exchange for Buffs or Buff-related-Items shall also be considered Buff-Trafficking.
2. Punishment
   1. This Offence is classified as a Summary Criminal Offence.
   2. Fines: If a Player is found guilty of Buff-Trafficking, he shall be fined exactly the proceeds of what he made during the sale that he was caught for + an additional 200$.
   3. Jail Time: A Player found guilty of Buff Trafficking shall be sent to Jail for 10 minutes.
   4. First Offence Leniency: If the Player has never been arrested for Buff-Trafficking, He shall only be fined 100$ on top of the proceeds of the sale(s) he was found guilty for and be sent to jail for only 5 minutes instead of 10.
   5. Example for clarification: If a player is reported to the Police, with proof of the player selling 500$ worth of Buffs or Buff related Items, the Player will be fined 500$ +200$ and be sent to jail for 10 minutes. If it is his first time being arrested for Buff-Trafficking, he will only be fined 500$ + 100$ and be sent to jail for 5 minutes.

4 - Definition of “Buffs” and “Buff-related-Items”

The following Items are considered “Buffs” and “Buff-related-Items” as mentioned before in this Bill:

Selling any of these Items, be it personally or via Chestshop, shall be considered Buff-Trafficking and punished as described above

5- Clarification

1. The Possession and Production of Buffs is not illegal, no matter the quantity. Offering to sell Buffs or Buff related Items is Buff-Trafficking.
