Bill: Vote Breach of Peace Cleanup Act

To
Repeal old Breach of Peace laws​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Breach of Peace Cleanup Act'.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Angryhamdog.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Kaiserin_.

2 - Reasons

1. These Breach of Peace acts have been made redundant or useless over the years and need to be repealed to ensure up-to-date laws.
2. The Bank Trespass Act has Bank Robbery overridden by the Tresspassing and Theft Offenses Act
3. The Open Charge Act isn’t relevant due to old offenses being easily tracked through the wanted point system. Additionally, the DHS has no desire to spend time clearing and actioning hundreds of past offenses for criminals who are inactive.
4. The Tech Toch act is redundant as the DHS has methods to fine those who have no money in their balance.
5. The Illegal Auto Consent Area Act mentions and requires features that aren’t around anymore, and can’t be enforced (or even committed).
6. There shouldn’t be spelling errors in the titles of our laws.

3 - Repealed
(1) The following Acts shall be repealed:

1. Bank Trespass Act
2. Open Charge Act
3. Tech Toch Act
4. Illegal Auto Consent Area Act

4 - Act Renaming
(1) The Following Acts shall be renamed as follows:

1. Tresspassing and Theft Offenses Act to “Trespassing and Theft Offenses Act”
