To
Promote fairness in Government remuneration and clarify the intent of bonuses.
The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Bonus Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
2 - Reasons
The Government has been unfairly allocating bonuses at a rate that will amount close to $1,000,000 over a 12 month period. Currently the Government is recklessly giving bonuses to everyone and everyone. One player received $7000 in bonuses during March. Mind you they are a very active and great deputy secretary, but it seems there has been no moderation in bonuses at all.
3 - Intent of Bonuses
Bonuses are for high-performing government employees who excel in their role and or go above & beyond their prescribed job descriptions. Bonuses aren't a participation exercise.
4 - Bonus Cap
(1) The Government shall not allocate in excess of $50,000 in bonuses in any given month.
(2) One employee should not receive in excess of $4000 total in bonuses in any given month.
