Company Description Bank of Oakridge is a fully owned government banked owned by the town of Oakridge. It is meant to help the citizens of Oakridge and increase economic activity in the town. The Bank of Oakridge will provide 3 core services to help Oakridge residents; bank accounts, loan financing and access to the Oakridge Wealth Fund as well as other minor economic help or services as decided.
ALL bank services will be only available to those who meet strict criteria. This is because the bank is only available for Oakridge citizens and businesses and town council only wants to subsidize costs for Oakridge citizens.
Bank of Oakridge will allow checking accounts to be created by bank members. Checking Accounts will be granted interest per month. Pretty simple stuff. All investments for checking accounts will be insured by a 3rd party meaning that the bank will advertise as 100% risk free, however, all money from deposits will go into investments.
Bank of Oakridge will offer various ways of financing personal and corporate needs. We will have low interest loans and ways to raise funds for Oakridge businesses.
Lastly, the Oakridge Wealth Fund will be a way for bank members to invest into the development of Oakridge. They will get all profits from the fund dividend equally by depositors. The fund will help raise money for financing by the bank as well as pay for infrastructure projects of Oakridge when they need the money. There isnt a set interest for the bank.
