How do you plan on using your grant funding?
Dragon Law intends on using its grant funds to help continue its renowned paralegal education program, subsidize "dry months" in which not many cases resolve but we have salaries to pay, and to keep salaries and bonuses competitive for lawyers, especially in a season where the Court is granting less and less legal fees. Dragon Law recently won two cases and got a total of $1,500 for them combined -- we need help.

Currently, we hired many paralegals to be able to find new legal potential and hire new associates. Many of these paralegals are being taught the basics of law and learning how to contribute the best to our law firm. We will use the funds to help continue teaching our paralegals and paying them a fair wage while they are learning.

Important subsidies from the DOC also ensure we can keep legal services accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy elite. We can raise prices, sure, but if we can keep prices low and wages high, then everybody wins. We want to continue promulgating legal services for everyone, quality education and good wages for employees, and expand outreach programs such as continuing to work on our mock trial program for general public legal education and community building.
