What position are you applying for? Economist

Why do you think you are suited to the position you are applying for? I've been a part of the DOC before and after some pressure from a few employees currently in the department, I decided it might be cool to check it out again. As a past deputy secretary of commerce, I'm familiar with most of the departments processes, and while I'm sure many things may have changed since then I don't think it will be too hard to learn again.
