Bill: Rejected Abusing /ad is Not Cool Act

To
Punish the abuse of the /ad command.​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Abusing /ad is Not Cool Act"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This bill was authored by Representative A__C.
(4) This Act is co-sponsored by Representative xSumoHunter.

2 - Reasons
(1) People abuse /ad repeatedly with no punishment, so this Act will set out a small fine per /ad abuse.

3 - Terms
(1) Creates a new law “Abusing /ad”:
Using the /ad command frivolously or not for its intended purpose.
Per Offence: $20 fine.

(2) Intended Purpose
/ad is currently intended for:
- Business and employment adverts
- Political campaigning

/ad is not intended for:
- Asking who is selling something
- Making a general announcement
