The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘AAC Clarification Act'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by: pepper5980

2 - Reasons
(1) The definitions of the words “accomplice”, “accessory”, and “conspiracy” as given by 1950Minecrafter and xEndeavour can and should be expanded upon in order to allow for a more concise enforcement of law.
3 - Terms
Replace Section 4 of the Accomplice and Conspiracy Offenses Act
“(1) Accomplice to a Crime (Original: xEndeavour - Feb 24, 2021)
(i) Classification: Indictable Criminal Offense
The act of giving assistance to the perpetrator of a crime.
Per Offense: Maximum 75% of listed offense punishments.
(2) Accessory to a Crime (Original: xEndeavour - Feb 24, 2021)
(i) Classification: Indictable Criminal Offense
The act of giving assistance to the perpetrator of a crime without directly taking part in it.
Per Offense: Maximum 50% of listed offense punishments.
(3) Conspiracy (Original: 1950minecrafter - Jun 1, 2020)
(i) Classification: Indictable Criminal Offense
The act of intending to commit a crime, without yet having done so.
Minimum Sentencing: $500 Fine + 5 Minutes Jail Time
Maximum Sentencing: $25,000 Fine + 120 Minutes Jail Time”
With:
“(1) Conspiracy
(i) Classification: Indictable Criminal Offense
An agreement between two or more people to commit an illegal act, along with an intent to achieve the agreement's goal, or an act that is innocent in itself but becomes unlawful when done by the combination of actors.
(2) All parties directly involved, but not in the origination of the crime, are considered either (i) accomplices; or (ii) accessories to a crime.
(i) Classifications: Indictable Criminal Offense
An accomplice is defined as a person who knowingly, voluntarily, or intentionally gives assistance to another in (or in some cases fails to prevent another from) the commission of a crime.
An accessory is defined as someone who knowingly, voluntarily, or intentionally aided or contributed to the concealment of a crime.”
