A BILL TO

Standardize 3-month inactivity as the wild eviction timeline







The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:


PART I — PRELIMINARIES

1. Short Title and Enactment


(1) This Act may be cited as the '3 Month Wild Eviction Act'

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

(3) This Act has been authored by Angryhamdog.

(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Omegabiebel.

(5) This Act amends the following acts:

(a) Third WAP Act

2. Reasons and Intent

(1) Pruning is 3 months now. Therefore, so should wild evictions.



PART II — Amendments

3. Third WAP Act Amendments


(1) Section 4 of the Third WAP Act shall be amended as follows:

4 - Evictability
(1) All wild regions may be evicted by the DOI if the owner of the region is inactive for over threefour months.
(2) All wild regions within 250 blocks of the edge of a wild warp may be evicted if the region was not granted an exception by the DOI.
(a) If a wild region is evicted for this reason, then the personal region cost shall be refunded from the DCGovernment balance.

Aye - The bill is oddly written because it amends a Staff-vetoed Act, but Staff have confirmed that this is compliant for whatever reason. The intent/effect is benign.
