To
Simplify the OBA
The citizens of Oakridge, through their elected Representatives in the Town-Council and the force of law ordained to that Town-Council by the people through the constitution of Oakridge, do hereby enact the following provisions into the by-laws:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'OBA Simplification Act.'
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by: Mayor Sofia2750
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by: Councillor Asdertplays
2 - Reasons
(1) The OBA has had very little traction
(2) This can be helped by improving the requirements
(3) To Amend the Property Registry Act
3 - Amendments
(1) The Property Registry Act is to be amended as follows:
5 - Oakridge Inc.
(1) A company registered with the Department of Commerce (DOC), may also be registered with the Office of Commerce. Any business, including ones that are not registered with the Department of Commerce (DOC), may open a ticket with the Office of Commerce to register with the Office of Commerce.
(2) A company is required to show their original filing with the DOC, and a statement on their business interests in Oakridge. To register, they must give the /db (or subsequent plugin) of the business, and any ties/plans it has with/for Oakridge.
(3) A company business registered wtih the Office of Commerce is to be a part of the Oakridge Business Association.
(4) Companies Businesses registered with the Office of Commerce may seek a loan from the Oakridge National Bank.
(a) This is only to take effect when it opens up to the public.
