To
Amend the Charter​

The residents of Willow, through their elected representatives in the Commission and the force of law ordained to that Commission by the people through the Willow Charter, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

PART I - PRELIMINARIES

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Willow Head Marshal Requirements Act’
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by spoonforknife
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by EmeraldGuuy LemonRollz.

2 - Reasons
(1) The current requirement for town marshal is police officer
(2) Our town marshal should have more experience than just a police officer rank. This fixes that.

3 - Amendments
Article VI section I part e of the Willow Constitution shall be be amended as follows:

e) Office of the Town Marshal
The Town Marshal is charged with:
(1) Promoting peace and good order within the Town.
(2) Coordinating with the Department of Homeland Security on public safety matters.
The Town Marshal must hold at least the rank of Police officer Seargent in the Department of Homeland Security. This requirement applies equally to any Acting Town Marshal.
