What position are you applying for? Economist

Why do you think you are suited to the position you are applying for? I am currently taking classes on economics in real life, and I am comfortable working with econometric models as I find the maths behind economies particularly interesting. I'm more suited to macroeconomics however I can still work decently with the microeconomy.

While my familiarity with specifically Redmont's economy is somewhat limited, I
do believe that there is a level of similarity to many real economies, which I feel is valuable as I am up to date with several different countries and their economic status, meaning that I have a relatively wide range of countries I'm already familiar with so that it may make the transfer to that of Redmont smoother.

I hope to work closely with others in the Department of Commerce in order to establish new research, quantitative but also always some qualitative findings to a certain degree, helping both the government, news outlets, and individuals understand the state and direction of the economy in order to maximise the positive outcomes through knowledge.

Additional Information: On other peoples' applications I saw it said 24 hours minimum play time, although the checklist here says 48 hours minimum. I figured I'd apply anyways but I understand if that's an issue.
