AMEND THE DEBT RECOVERY QUICK FIX ACT TO REMOVE A TICKING TIME BOMB

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

PART I — PRELIMINARIES

1. Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Timebomb Removal Act’

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon assent.

(3) This Act has been authored by President of the Senate Talion77 and by Secretary of Commerce xXTheoryXx.

(4) This Act has been sponsored by Representative juniperfig and co-sponsored by President of the Senate Talion77 and Representative dan_ie_laa.

(5) This Act amends the following acts:

(a) Debt Recovery Quick Fix Act

2. Reasons and Intent
(1) The Government is currently sitting on a primed time-bomb: New Players being automatically covered by anti-scam insurance. With massive scam banks plopping up everywhere, this little subsection will make the government bankrupt in no time.

PART II — AMENDMENTS

4. Amendments to the Debt Recovery Quick Fix Act

(1) Section 5 of the Debt Recovery Quick Fix Act shall be amended as follows:

(3) Players are automatically insured for free for the first month after their joindate. Claims by the uninsured may be submitted for an incident that occurred within a player's first month after joindate.
[...]

(2) All subsequent sections in the Debt Recovery Quick FIx Act shall be renumbered accordingly.

(3) Ex-post facto shall be overridden in regards to this amendment, pursuant to Part I, §6(3)(c) of the Criminal Code Act.
