What problem does your business solve and what makes you different from competitors? The Redmont Law Firm is a firm that prices itself cheaper then other firms to ensure that people have access to top tier and reputable legal counsel without the fear of being appointed a unexperienced or uncaring public defender. Many of the cases we take are Pro Bono or cost less then $200
How do you plan to generate revenue to scale up your business and is your long-term vision for the company? As our company expands, we will be able to hire more people to put into specialized teams, With this we will be able to take on high profile and higher paying clients without taking away from our original mission of cheap and affordable services to those who need it.
What is you and your team's experience and expertise? I am the Managing Partner, I served as the Attorney General, Solicitor General, State Prosecutor, Judge and Supreme Court Justice twice. My experience is on par and certainly exceeds some of the other lawyers and law firms out here. The rest of my team is made up of newer lawyers that are looking to learn how to be great lawyers and pave their own path withing the firm and the legal field as a whole.
How will you use the grant funds, and what impact do you expect them to have on your business? As we are based out of Oakridge, we are hoping to use these funds to finance property in Oakridge and the Capital in order to be more assessable to all citizens of the commonwealth. As we start off this will help pay employees, shop rent in other towns, buy property and stimulate local economy's by bringing more business and foot traffic to these places.
