TO
Re-establish Redmont’s Relationship With Stratham
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress, do hereby formally enact this non-binding resolution, as a request to our Government:
1 - Short Title
(1) This Resolution may be cited as the 'Stratham Recognition Resolution'.
(2) This Resolution has been authored by Representative TheReal42Person
(3) This Resolution has been co-sponsored by Sen. xEndeavour.
2 - Reasons
(1) Stratham was one of our closest allies before they turned undemocratic.
(2) The Ambassador to Stratham was the highest ambassador position, yet can no longer be used.
(3) Stratham recently became democratic again, and they are a UN member, so we have no reason to unrecognize them.
(4) This would allow us to have more fun in foreign affairs and more cooperation.
3 - Terms
(1) The Republic of Stratham is hereby recognized by the Commonwealth of Redmont as an independent country.
