PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS

The first two weeks of my administration have been both exciting and eventful: thanks to the coordination of the West administration and the help of renominated secretaries, we were able to ensure a smooth transition for our government. I’ve regularly discussed department goals with our new secretaries, Dusty_3, 218218Consumer, Sicspoti, and Milkcrack, to ensure they had the support they needed in an entirely new role, and I’ve also communicated regularly with renominated secretaries to ensure that their departments were running smoothly.

Work has begun immediately on creating a business district for new players: with this, we hope to guarantee potential entrepreneurs in Redmont a means to make money, create jobs, and most importantly, have fun on the server. While plot negotiations were expensive and time consuming, with enough land now available for the business district, we hope to have it completed and pasted in soon.

Progress on a National Park of Redmont has been excellent; the DER and DCT Secretary have worked well together in discussing plans for the park, and with such a level of coordination between the departments, I expect nothing less than an excellent result for a large, natural expanse and symbol of server culture.

The administration has faced some controversy over the delay of the signage of the byeSprite election bill. However, I hope that with the ultimate passage of the amendment, disputes between Congress and the cabinet will lessen. Ultimately, the best way to bring results to the people of Redmont is to come together and move forward in a positive direction, as coordination over politics is our responsibility as elected officials.

In general, I have been very pleased with the effective work of my secretaries in rolling out the various initiatives of my administration. While our objectives are numerous, the Krix administration has been effective in their completion, especially due to our hard working cabinet. Although we were off to a rocky start, I have no doubt that much will get done over the next three months.

Signed,
Krix
President

TOWNS

The town of Oakridge held its second town council elections, utilizing a system of voter registration in which only residents or renters of property within Oakridge could vote, a process that was meticulously overseen by Mayor Zab. The local government also passed its second constitutional amendment, the right to bear arms, guaranteeing all citizens within the town the right to own and sell weapons other than those defined as 'MAD' by the city of Hamilton.

The town of Willow has been preparing its tier 2 expansion, and it expects to hold town council elections, open to all players on the server due to the limited population of Willow, shortly afterward. The expansion is expected to bring notable growth in both Willow's population and the number of stores available in the rustic town.
