Establish Adoption

The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Adoption Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) The Act has been co-sponsored by: Representative ElainaThomas29 and Representative 1950minecrafter
(4) The Act has been shown to the DPA Secretary Twixted before being proposed.

2 - Reasons
The Bill helps in a roleplay aspect to the server.

3 - Registration
(1) The Department of Public Affairs will facilitate a space for players to apply for the process of adoption.

4 - Definition
(1) Defines adoption as ''The action or fact of legally taking a player and bringing it up as one’s own.''
(2) Defines Parents as “a mother or father of a person”

5 - Clarifications
(1) Parents aren’t obligated to give their son/daughters anything besides what they feel is appropriate.

2 - Reasons
(1) Currently, only married players can adopt other players. Many non-married players have wanted to adopt players and there is no issue with that.
