CONGRESS OF THE
COMMONWEALTH OF REDMONT

A BILL TO

END THE EXCESSIVE RENTING OF BILLBOARDS BY ONE PERSON

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

PART I — PRELIMINARIES

1. Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Act may be cited as the ‘Sharing Advertising Space Act (SASA)’

(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.

(3) This Act has been authored by AverageAnnika.

(4) This Act has been sponsored by AverageAnnika.

(5) This Act has been co-sponsored by antonfr.

(6) This Act amends the following acts:

(a) Property Standards Act

2. Reasons and Intent

(1) This bill intends to limit the amount of billboards that can be rented by a single person

(2) As it stands currently, a single person can rent a ridiculous amount of billboards all by themselves; this stifles smaller businesses and prevents them from renting valuable advertising space for their business.

(3) The same is true for political parties; smaller parties, which we have recently seen a large influx of, cannot afford and cannot obtain physical advertising space in game.

(4) Recently, I have become aware of one individual who has single handedly rented 21 billboards, needless to say, this is an excessive amount of billboards to rent all at the same time.

PART II — Contents

4. Amendments

(1) Part II of the Property Standards Act shall be appended as follows:
"15. Billboards

(1) Plots beginning with 'billboard' or 'minibillboard' are billboards.
