To
Provide Funding for Urban Renewal
The people of Democracy Craft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the “Second Urban Renewal One-Off Appropriations Act”.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) Authored by President Krix, submitted by Rep. LilDigiVert.
2 - Reasons for Proposal
The DCT needs funds to ensure that it has enough for negotiations for the purchase of plots for the renewal of buildings and the construction of new areas. Instead of waiting for the appropriations process next month, a supplemental appropriation would allow the executive to immediately negotiate for private plots necessary for government projects.
3 - Terms
A supplemental appropriation of $10,000 shall be made from the DC Government balance to the Department of Construction and Transport.
