Direct the Department of Health to lower vaccine costs to promote the health of the public

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment

(1) This Resolution may be cited as the “Resolution for Public Health and Safety”.
(2) This Resolution shall not be legally binding, but instead a recommendation sent to the DoH.
(3) This Resolution was authored by Representative Icypenguin79.

2 - Reasons

(1) The current price for vaccination is over 10% of a new player's balance.
(2) Vaccines are only administered by the Government.

3 - Requests

(1) Congress strongly urges the Department of Health to lower the price of the Vaccine Prescription to $100.

Explanation:
  • The Department of Health has already been considering lowering the price of vaccines while acknowledging:
    • It is important that vaccines are reasonably priced for the public and the medical council re-evaluates it regularly.
    • Diseases are an important role-play aspect and employ many doctors. By making vaccines too widely available would damage jobs and such aspect.
  • This bill has no legal effect, whereas the responsibility of Congress is to pass laws, The Acts of Congress should not be plagued with bills that have no legal effect.
