TO
Direct the Department of Environment and Recreation to recognise the current Green New Deal Policy and promote nature on city plots.
The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:
1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Resolution may be cited as the “Resolution for a Green New Deal”.
(2) This Resolution shall not be legally binding, but instead a recommendation sent to the DER.
(3) This Resolution was authored by Representative Icypenguin79.
2 - Reasons
(1) There is currently a DER Policy called “The Green New Deal Policy”.
(2) This policy is not recognised by the DER, as the “Citizen Reports” subforum does not exist.
(3) To create a more visually appealing city, a Green New Deal is needed to promote nature on plots.
3 - Requests
(1) Congress strongly urges the Department of Environment and Recreation to recognise the current GND by creating the “Citizen Reports” subforum; as well as creating a policy to promote the creation of parks around Hamilton.
