Amend the Miscellaneous Offences Act​

The people of the Commonwealth of Redmont, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that Congress by the people through the Constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as the 'Resisting Arrest Act'.
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This Act has been authored by Representative TheReal42Person and Skywat4, a concerned PO.
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. XaviersKarma.
(5) This Act has been approved by Justice Secretary ElainaThomas29.

2 - Reasons
(1) Resisting arrest has a very loose meaning.
(2) Police Officers have a hard time catching criminals if they log off or teleport away.

The act of leaving the server while a Police Officer is pursuing you.
Per Offense: $100 Fine

The act of purposefully resisting arrest by evading the officer or leaving the server with intent not to be caught.
Per Offense: $150 Initial Fine + $50 per 15 minutes of resisting arrest up to $750
